Movie Review

Eragon:

is a novel written by Christopher Paolini. It is the first book of the planned Inheritance Trilogy. The sequel, Eldest, was released in mid-2005. Eragon is set in the land of Alagaësia and is a story about a farm boy named Eragon and his dragon, Saphira. The book was adapted into a film of the same title, which was released on December 15 2006 in various countries. In North America, the DVD was released on March 20 2007.

1.Establishing shot:

i)Close-Up:

Close-ups are often used as cutaways from a more distant shot to show detail, such as characters' emotions, or some intricate activity by their hands. Close cuts to characters' faces are used far more often in television than in movies; they are especially common in soap operas. Television shows that do not use close-ups are often described as creating an immediate feeling of emotional distance from the characters.

ii)Facial expression:

From the shot here you can see the eragon face look impress when
he looks sephira for the first time in the big size.

iii)Long-Shot:

long shot (sometimes referred to as a full shot or a wide shot) typically shows the entire object or human figure and is usually intended to place it in some relation to its surroundings; however, it is not as far away as an extreme long shot would be.

iv)Depth of efffect:

The camera focus on the important view from the shot here we casee the camera focus on eragon and the blue color and the environment behind eragon look blur.

v)Extreme Long-Shot:

An extreme long shot is used to show a large amount of landscape around the character/s. This is also known as an establishing shot. It is when the camera is at its furthest distace from the subject.
